We would advice against waxing, using sun beds, using any ‘facials’ or swimming in chlorinated water at least 2 days prior to and 7 days after your procedure. The new skin that will form after your treatment will be extremely sensitive to sun damage and therefore a Sunscreen with SpF 30 and above is recommended. We would also advice all patients to use a mild steroid preparation in addition to help with the inflammation caused by the procedure.
